Guyton was a consensus All-American at Indiana University and graduated in 2000 as the fourth-leading scorer in Hoosiers history with 2,100 career points after being named IU's most valuable player in each of his four seasons. A second-round selection by the Chicago Bulls in the 2000 NBA Draft, Guyton played three seasons in the NBA and six seasons of international professional basketball before embarking on a coaching career. The former Associate Commissioner and Director of Basketball Personnel for the Midwest Professional Basketball Association, Guyton is a two-time minor league coach of the year and led the Bloomington Flex to league titles in 2012 and 2013, as well as an undefeated, 18-0, record in 2014. A native of Peoria, IL, Guyton is a member of four halls of fame, including the Indiana University Athletics Hall of Fame and the Greater Peoria Sports Hall of Fame. After coaching Always A Brave to the TBT 2016 Midwest Region championship, Guyton joined the NBA D-League's Windy City Bulls as an assistant coach for the 2016-17 season.
