A two-time All-Missouri Valley Conference selection, earning second-team honors in 2007 and honorable mention in 2008, Ruffin helped the Braves to three straight postseason tournaments in his final three seasons, including a run to the 2006 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 as a sophomore. Playing his final season as the nation's active assists leader, Ruffin still ranks third in Bradley history with 644 career assists. Prior to joining the Braves, Ruffin teamed with Shaun Livingston on Peoria High School's 2003 Illinois AA state championship team. Ruffin played professionally for four seasons, including the 2008-09 season in Germany's ProA division and he coaches both at the high school and semipro level in Peoria. Ruffin was one of the breakout players in TBT 2016, despite no longer playing professionally, averaging 7.4 points on 59.1 percent field goal shooting and a 5-1 assists-to-turnover ratio during the Always A Brave Midwest Region championship run.
