The 6'8" Forward Has Made A Strong Case For Jamboree MVP

Josh Selby and Brothers Dat Ball went toe-to-toe with Tevin Glass and Citi Team to see who would fill the last spot in TBT2017’s South regional.

Both guys played a huge role in their team’s Saturday wins and they were back at it again on Sunday. After a rough shooting day yesterday, Selby found his stroke – going for a game-high 28 points (8-14 FG) and four rebounds.

But Tevin Glass continued his MVP-worthy Jamboree and put up a double-double of 27 points (12-24 FG) and 11 rebounds to lead Citi Team to the win.

Joel Smith and Aaron Johnson each added 15 for Citi, and Johnson added 12 rebounds for a double-double of his own. Citi was on fire from three in the first half, going 6-9, while shooting 50% overall from the field (18-36) and going a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line.

Travis Hyman had a big game on both ends for BDB. He had an efficient 20 points on 9-13, pulled in eight rebounds and had four blocks.

Tired legs may have played a role in BDB, who played with just five players. They were outrebounded 39-28, didn’t hit a single three in the second half and missed nine free throws (18-27 – 66.7%).

Citi Team moves on to play in TBT2017’s South regional. They’ll have their work cut out for them in a loaded south region where two-time defending champion Overseas Elite lurks in the shadows.
