Russell Robinson sinks game-winning shot for Big Apple Basketball

Russell Robinson, who won a national championship with Kansas, was looking to add to his trophy case last summer in The Basketball Tournament. In 2008, Robinson watched teammate, Mario Chalmers, sink a clutch shot to keep the Jayhawks title hopes alive. In TBT quarterfinals, it was Robinson who needed to play hero for his Big Apple Basketball team.

Big Apple was tied with Hoopville at 72-all with time winding down. Smush Parker, the former NBA point guard, set up Robinson for the buzzer-beating 3-pointer. However, Big Apple's run ended in the next round, being elimated by Team Barstool in overtime in the semifinals.
