TBT's all-time leader in points per game put on a show Tuesday night

Did anybody expect anything less from Jimmer Fredette? In his first game stateside since leading Team Fredette to the TBT 2018 Midwest Regional crown, Fredette racked up an insane 41 points and nine rebounds against reigning NBA MVP James Harden (37 points, 9 assists) and the Houston Rockets. Per usual, Fredette found a variety of ways to score the ball. In addition to knocking down four trey balls, Jimmer relied heavily on his handles and explosive first step to get to the hoop. Maybe most impressive was his ability to finish in traffic, often finding unique ways to score over larger defenders. For many, the performance just reaffirmed the belief that Jimmer should be in the NBA.

In Team Fredette's run to Baltimore last summer, Jimmer became TBT's all-time leader in points per game, averaging 31 over the course of five contests. He had his best performance against the Fort Wayne Champs in the Super 16, logging 41 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. He also scored upwards of 30 points in the team's games against Peoria AllStars and Jackson TN Underdawgs and dropped 28 in an upset win over Scarlet & Gray in the Super 16. He is in his third year with the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association.
