#17 West Virginia Wildcats 114, #16 Charlotte Chess Center 87

Stevie Browning scored a team-high 27 points to lead the West Virginia Wildcats past Charlotte Chess Center, 114-87. Browning made 10 of his 16 field-goal attempts for the Wildcats, who never looked back after building a 38-12 lead at the end of the first quarter. Ryan Taylor had a double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds) and Santino Ditrapano added 20 points on 9-for-14 shooting for the Wildcats. Deshawn Mitchell led five players in double-figures for Charlotte, scoring a team-high 27 points.
