Michael Rejniak brings over 16 years of college coaching experience to the 2019 TBT. In last year's 2018 TBT he coached "We Are D3" in the West Regional. His prior coaching stops include being an Assistant Coach at Vassar College after previously being the Head Men's Basketball Coach at SUNY-New Paltz for the previous 6 seasons. On the court, his teams recorded the most conference wins (9) since 1999 during the 2013 and 2015 seasons, coached 5 All-Conference student-athletes and 4 1,000 pt scorers.Off the court, his teams performed well in the classroom, receiving the NABC Academic Team Excellence Award (cumulative team GPA of 3.0) his final 3 seasons. Prior to SUNY-New Paltz, Coach Rejniak was the assistant coach at Amherst College for 4 seasons under legendary coach David Hixon. During his tenure, Rejniakhelped coach teams that made 3 NCAA appearances, including an appearance in the Division 3 National Championship game in 2008. At Amherst, Rejniak worked with 7 student-athletes that went on to play professional basketball. Most notably Aaron Toomey and Andrew Olsen who were both NABC National Players of The Year for Division III. Previous coaching stints by Coach Rejniak include Plymouth State University and The College of New Jersey. Coach Rejniak holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from Springfield College and a Master's Degree in Athletic Administration from The College of New Jersey. He currently resides in Milton, NY with his wife Kimberly, daughter Grace and son Fletcher.
