TBT is looking for Interns for 2018!

Company Description
The Basketball Tournament (TBT) is a nationwide, $2 million winner-takes-all tournament televised live on ESPN. To
enter, General Managers put together their own teams and rely on social media voting to gain entry. This unique
concept - using social media to build teams, recruit fans, and qualify for the tournament - debuted in the summer of
2014 with 32 teams (featuring notable NBA, NCAA, and Euro-League players) competing for $500,000. After a successful
inaugural year, TBT expanded in 2015 with 4 regions, 97 teams, a $1 million prize, as well as a broadcast deal with ESPN.
In 2016, the field was more competitive than ever, vying for a chance at the now $2 million prize, during primetime on
ESPN. And in 2017, over 200 teams applied and nearly 1,000 players participated (9 of whom went on to earn NBA
contracts). Going into its 5th year, TBT is pioneering the way fans experience professional sports, by inviting them to
enter teams, empowering them to vote teams in, and finally by awarding the winning team’s fan base 10% of the prize.
